Expo Shanghai: the Italian Pavillon registered 1 million visitors

In less than one month from the official opening, the Italian Pavillon has been one of the most visited before the end of the first month.

Un numero enorme se si pensa che l’Esposizione Universale ha dichiarato poco meno di 6 milioni di visitatori. A huge result if thinking that the Universal Exposistion has declared less than 6 million visitors: meaning that app. 20% of the people who visited the 260 Pavillons preferred the Italian one.

“ A better result than expected  and a further confirmation that Italy has won its own bet” says Beniamino Quintieri, Commissioner General of the Government for Shanghai Expo 2010.

Before the official opening on May 1st, Italy stated between the 8th and the 12th place as one of the most interesting country to be visited.

But since the beginning, visitors have had the opportunity of admiring the Italian worldwide famous excellences, from haute couture to cars and design and visitors’ attention has been slightly turned into our country innovation skill.

In the mean time thanks to the word of mouth and all the positive comments coming from the media, the Italian Pavillon has become one of the most visited.

Both Chinese and International Press are  constantly keeping an eye on it and have just  selected the Italian one as the most elegant and attractive Pavillons, position enforced by the enthusiastic comments of all visitors.
